ROLE SUMMARY:
St George's International School, Switzerland, is a co-educational, independent school nestled between the mountains and the lake. The school offers a unique learning environment at the heart of the Swiss Riviera, providing an inspiring and dynamic workplace.
Our International School is seeking to appoint a Graduate Assistant for its Boarding department, to join our team in ensuring the safety and well-being of our diverse boarding students, representing around 60 nationalities. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the school's positive ethos and core values at all times.
We are looking for a qualified educator who is passionate about working with children and teenagers, committed to excellence and continuous improvement, and capable of inspiring and engaging students.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
In general, Graduate Assistant will be responsible for the following:
1. Working as part of a team to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the students in the house,
2. Supporting the team to ensure the smooth running of the boarding house,
3. Assisting with extra-curricular activities,
4. Playing an active role in the weekend activity programme,
5. Helping with airport transfers at key times of the term,
6. Assisting with any other duties that the school might reasonably ask.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Skills and previous experience
1. Ability to understand and enjoy multi culturalism
2. Experience of working with young people
3. IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office
Qualifications and Accreditations
1. Educated to degree level
2. Appropriate right to work in Switzerland
3. Driving license

WEEKLY SCHEDULE
Fridays 16.30-22.30
Saturdays 9.00-12.00
Sundays 9.00-12.00
