Hitachi Energy is seeking a Global Digital Transformation Applications Service Delivery Manager to drive business transformation for marketing, sales, and customer experience. This role will focus on digital strategy and portfolio management, leading a global team responsible for service delivery.
This position will lead strategic digital initiatives, unlock growth opportunities, and shape the company's transformation. You will develop and implement IT capabilities to plan and build solutions resulting from business demands.
You will be responsible for interacting with leadership to monitor and execute projects, as well as guiding project managers and program managers with their objectives.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in IT technology and applications development management, with 5+ years in large global corporations and 10+ years managing third-party providers globally.
Your responsibilities:
* Cultivate digital culture and lead strategic initiatives across the digital ecosystem.
* Develop and manage high-impact digital portfolios, prioritizing projects and tracking progress towards goals.
* Spearhead successful implementation, ensuring timely delivery and driving tangible business value.
* Translate complex technology into clear business value and secure buy-in from stakeholders.
* Guide strategic organizational development.
* Ensure projects are properly organized, staffed, and skilled.
* Lead multinational teams providing services to business units.
* Responsible for department strategy and operations, HR management, and associated budgets.
* Leading service and project teams.
* Guiding, motivating, and developing direct and indirect subordinates.
* Implementing agile development setups.
* Establishing stable end-to-end service delivery according to ITIL4 standards.
* Guiding and supporting IT implementation projects.
* Create governance setups and run service/project reviews according to global standards.
* Holding financial responsibility for sub-teams.
* Ensuring proper organization, staffing, skill-building, and direction within the area of responsibility.
