Head of Talent and Culture at VAT defines and leads the corporate Talent & Organizational Development Strategy and People Agenda globally across different divisions, departments, functions, and locations. This includes programs and initiatives around Talent Development, Strategic Workforce Planning, Learning, DEI, Culture, and Leadership effectiveness. Leading an evolving team of 3 HR professionals across Switzerland, Malaysia, and Romania, the individual is a thought leader with deep expertise in Talent and Organizational development, with strategic acumen, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges within high tech and manufacturing industry.
Working hand-in-hand with the executive team, senior leaders, and the HR leadership team, this role focuses on driving the talent & succession agenda, organizational development, Engagement, and various HR initiatives that support VAT's significant growth and operational excellence on a global scale.
Your Challenges
1. Shape, develop and deploy global Talent and Org Development strategies that impact Employee Engagement and Company Performance.
2. Own and drive the talent, culture, and engagement programs.
3. Drive & support senior leaders and the HR team globally on the following topics:
1. Strategic Workforce Planning
2. Performance management and talent management
3. Culture & Engagement
4. Organization development and effectiveness
5. Leadership Development
6. Learning & Development
7. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
4. As part of the HR Leadership team, contribute to developing the HR strategy, and the delivery of its roadmaps.
5. Lead a team of Talent Specialists to ensure initiatives, projects, and programs are delivered according to expectations and timeline.
6. Design and implement Global Leadership Programs & Trainings.
7. Define and shape Employee Value Proposition and Employer Branding on a global VAT level and work with the team to meet regional and local needs.
Your Competencies
1. Experience in leading global/corporate TM & OD in mid-size and fast-growing international company.
2. Proven track record of developing and implementing HR/Talent strategies and programs that are aligned with the business strategy.
3. Experience leading large and global scale culture transformation initiatives and acting as a change agent with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate a strategy and vision, align people and process, and drive execution to achieve the desired results.
4. Ability and willingness to cover the whole range from strategic vision to conception as well as hands-on managing and bringing initiatives to the ground.
5. Proven experience in design and deployment of Strategic Workforce Planning Playbook including standards and processes.
6. Vast HR Leadership experience in Talent CoE; Strong business acumen, preferably with few years experience in HR Business Partnering roles.
7. Experience in managing Talent Acquisition with focus on TA Technology solutions, Building Global TA Standards and Employer Branding would be beneficial.
