Job Overview
The Project Controller plays a critical role in overseeing the financial management of our operational transformation project. This position ensures that financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and cost control processes align with the strategic objectives of the transformation initiative.
Main Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Control:
* Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets to ensure alignment with transformation objectives.
* Track financial performance against forecasts, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
* Conduct financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making.
* Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
2. Project Performance & Risk Management:
* Provide financial insights to project leaders and stakeholders to optimize resource allocation.
* Identify and mitigate financial risks related to the transformation program.
* Assess the financial impact of change requests, scope adjustments, and operational shifts.
* Implement cost control measures to maximize project efficiency and ROI.
3. Stakeholder & Compliance Management:
* Ensure coordination of Finance, Operations, and Project teams to align financial and operational strategies.
* Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance.
* Support executive reporting by preparing financial dashboards, KPIs, and variance analysis reports.
* Assist in financial audits and post-implementation reviews to assess project success.
Requirements
* 15+ years of FP&A experience in a multinational environment, including significant experience in large-scale transformation projects or operational restructuring.
* Demonstrated understanding of transformation programs, change management, and financial impact assessment.
* Extensive financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis skills.
* Proficiency in Excel with experience in extracting and transforming datasets from ERP/CRM/BI platforms. Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI) is a plus.
* Strong organizational skills and collaborative mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Self-driven, autonomous, and active in engaging remotely with business owners.
* Attention to detail, critical-thinking, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Fluent in English and French; German is a plus.
