In this dynamic role, you will be tasked with:
1. Gather and analyze market and competitive intelligence
2. Manage product and segment growth
3. Develop value propositions
4. Support product launches and sales
5. Oversee application engineering
6. Drive product segment strategy and pricing management
7. Hold global responsibility for product and application management
8. Implement corporate strategy
9. Manage and develop team members
10. Participate in industry events
11. Support sales talks and contract negotiations
The desired profile covers the following points:
1. A very strong background in lubricants, preferably in cooling lubricants in the metalworking industry, is a must
2. Preferred background in basic technical training as a chemical laboratory technician or machining
3. University degree in chemistry, mechanical engineering, or related field
4. Additional training in business administration
5. Demonstrated success in international product and application management within the metalworking industry, specifically in machining manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or toolmaking sectors
6. Experience with sustainability initiatives is a plus
7. Proficiency in English and German required; knowledge of French is an advantage
8. Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time.
