Job Summary
You will work in a small team that supports the implementation of the CERN Open Science policy. Your primary responsibilities include designing the community engagement strategy, developing educational interventions to promote improved Open Science practice across the CERN community, and supporting concrete implementation projects of the OS Policy.
Key Responsibilities
* Design the CERN Open Science community engagement strategy, including analyzing needs and gaps and defining a corresponding project plan.
* Develop and implement educational interventions to promote improved Open Science practice across the CERN community.
* Support concrete implementation projects of the OS Policy.
* Collaborate with the community to establish a monitoring framework for Open Science.
* Participate in cross-CERN initiatives to advance Open Science.
* Provide user/community support.
Your Profile
* Experience with Open Science, preferably with a deep understanding of Open Science practices in a science domain.
* Experience with community engagement.
* Experience in designing and delivering educational programs/interventions.
* Experience with presenting at events.
* Experience working in a research environment.
* Bonus point: Knowledge of physics/particle physics is an advantage.
Eligibility Criteria
* Nationality: Be a national of a country.
* Educational Background: Have a professional background in Electronic Engineering (or a related field) and have either a Master's degree with 2 to 6 years of post-graduation professional experience or a PhD with no more than 3 years of post-graduation professional experience.
* CERN Experience: Never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
