HR Manager Job Description
General Motors Europe, headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, is seeking a highly motivated and qualified HR Manager to join our team.
This role will play a pivotal part in our Switzerland headquarter expansion as well as the opening of new branches in other European locations. The successful candidate will provide direction and leadership that aligns with and supports our objectives, mission, and culture.
As an HR Manager at General Motors Europe, you will partner strategically with assigned business leaders and leverage people analytics and data to drive employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Influencing Employee Experience through People Processes
* Delivering Timely and Accurate HR Services
* Providing HR Partnership and Coaching to Managers and Employees
* Supporting the Monthly Payroll Cycle and Administering HR-Related Documents
* Identifying and Mitigating Conflictual or Performance-Related Situations
* Participating in Local, Regional, and Global HR Initiatives
* Providing Data Analysis and Reporting Solutions
* Sustaining Excellence in Delivery of Regional HR Services
* Supporting HR Internal Controls
Required Qualifications and Preferred Skills:
* Federal Diploma in HR (or Equivalent) or University Education in Human Resources Management
* Minimum 5+ Years' Experience in a Senior HR Role
* Languages: Business Fluent in English and German; Additional European Languages Advantageous
* Workday Competency an Added Advantage
* Data Judgment, Employee Experience Orientation, Negotiation, Persuasive Communication, Timely Problem Solving, Managing Performance, Situational Judgment, Developing Talent, Relationship Management, Interview Savvy, Coaching, Startup Working Experience an Added Advantage
* Solid Knowledge of Switzerland Labor Law, Particularly the Organization's Legal Obligations in Employment Matters
* Strong Professional Ethics, Sense of Initiative, Ability to Work in a Dynamic Environment while Respecting Deadlines
