The AO’s educational events facilitate training and expertise across our clinical specialties such as trauma, spine, craniomaxillofacial, veterinary, and reconstructive surgery. Our regional Education Events teams are responsible for the planning, delivery, and on-site execution of all our educational events.

Main Responsibilities
Efficient and effective planning and delivery of all ESA Board & Committee Meeting:
1. Planning and delivery of all ESA Board & Committee Meetings for all Clinical Specialties
2. Organize Board/Council Info sharing meetings
3. Venue booking, onsite logistics, travel management, reimbursement and social program
4. Create meeting minutes and centrally manage all meeting files, action items and decisions
5. Support regional manager with agenda planning (invite guest speakers)
6. Support Regional Managers preparing presentations for board, committee meetings and team meetings
7. Support onboarding and system access for Regional Officers
Plan and deliver elections for regional boards & committees. Support EO's conducting national election:
8. Plan and deliver all regional boards (incl. associated elections) & committee elections
9. Prepare election schedule, manage call for applications, meticulous manage electorate list, ensure communication to Nomination Committee, Boards and candidates.
10. Plan public communication to announce election results (web, email or social media)
Main Requirements
11. At least 5 years of professional experience as an Assistant and/or in administration; ideally for advisory boards/committees
12. Accomplished professional education (e.g. Fachausweis or B.Sc)
13. Working experience in an international environment
14. Tech savvy, good knowledge of MS Office 365, digital collaboration tools and AI applications
15. High quality, service-oriented and pro-active mindset
16. Proven organizational and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail and a structured way of working
17. Excellent communicator, internally and externally (writing reports, minutes, etc.)
18. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, German and any other language is a plus
19. Travel within Europe is required
