About the Role
As an IT System & Data Center Administrator, you will be responsible for administering, securing, and optimizing the group's IT infrastructure and data centers.
The successful candidate will ensure the stability, performance, and availability of production systems while driving technological evolutions.
Key Responsibilities
* System Administration & IT Infrastructure:
o Administer and manage operating systems: Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (RedHat, Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, etc.). Active Directory (GPO management, DNS, DHCP, ADFS, SSO). Intune, SCCM for workstation management. Microsoft Exchange Online / Office 365.
o Manage virtualized environments: VMware vSphere, HyperV. HA cluster management, vMotion. Performance and cost optimization.
o Supervise storage solutions: SAN (HPE 3PAR, Nimble). Snapshot management, replication, and high availability.
o Oversee backup and disaster recovery (DR/BCP): Solutions: Veeam Backup & Replication. Testing and validating Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP). Automating backups and generating reports. Telephony fix. Microsoft Team telephony.
* Data Center & Cloud Management:
o Operate and maintain on-premise and hybrid data centers.
o Manage cloud infrastructures (Azure) and SaaS solutions. Monitor and optimize energy consumption and capacity in data centers. Administer monitoring and supervision solutions (Centreon, PRTG).
o Implement and maintain IT security policies (ISO 27001, Zero Trust, NIST). Secure access and manage identities using IAM, MFA, SSO, Zero Trust. Deploy and manage endpoint protection solutions. Apply security patches, updates, and hardening strategies. Manage and analyze security logs and events (SIEM, Splunk, ELK).
* Support & Operations (Level 2 & 3):
o Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for complex incidents.
o Diagnose and resolve system and infrastructure failures. Collaborate with IT teams for continuous service improvement.
o Maintain and update technical documentation. Automate recurring tasks using PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible.
* IT Project Management & Upgrades:
o Lead IT infrastructure evolution projects: Hybrid cloud migration / Server and storage modernization / BCP/DRP improvement. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners as relevant. Write technical specifications and monitor project budgets.
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a strong background in system administration and data center management.
* Candidate Profile:
o Degree: Master's degree in IT, Systems & Network Administration, or equivalent. Experience: 10+ years in system administration and data center management. Microsoft Azure Cloud Certification & ITIL Service Management (foundation).
o Technical skills: Operating Systems: Windows Server, Linux. Virtualization: VMware, HyperV. Storage & Backup: SAN, NAS, Veeam, Commvault. Cloud: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud. Security: IAM, MFA, SIEM, Zero Trust. Automation: PowerShell, Python, Bash. Monitoring: Centreon.
o Problem-solving mindset, proactive. French/English. Ability to work in a team and provide technical mentoring.
