Job Purpose
ICE Data Services, a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange, presents the unique opportunity for a full-time Manager to join our newly formed Technical Sales Specialist Team. This individual will be both a player and coach and manage a team of Specialists responsible for supporting our Trading Solutions suite across EMEA. The ICE Trading Solutions suite encompasses a number of solutions to include ICE Connect, ICE Chat and will be the de-facto expert on all new product launches. The Technical Sales Specialists team works alongside the Sales Team to ensure deep domain expertise in our markets and products and serves as a technical champion in working with our clients along the entire life cycle of a trade.
This role will primarily service our client base across the Energy and Commodities space and will have a dedicated sales target. The role is ideally suited to a self-motivated individual who relishes being at the forefront of business activities and thrives on their own successes and those of the team. A strong communicator with a good knowledge of the market data and trading environment from content, technology and networking perspective is required.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for supporting the ICE Trading Solutions suite of products (primarily ICE IM, ICE Connect, WebICE and ICE Options Analytics) within an assigned territory (and/or assigned accounts).
* Become the technical expert on Trading Solutions suite and bring deep domain knowledge to these products.
* Maintain relationships with existing users through trainings, floor walks, Web Ex sessions as well as become the “go to” person for all account enquiries.
* Champion new product knowledge and work alongside the Sales Team to ensure they can position our products and solutions to end clients.
* Collaborate with sales on both pre and post sales activities.
* Provide technical subject matter support across ICE Trading Solutions suite.
* Uncover leads for sales through daily activities.
* Manage a team of Specialists to ensure they are all achieving their individual sales quotas.
* Partner with the Head of EMEA Sales to achieve and exceed regional sales quotas for new product launches.
* Ability to work effectively on excel and build bespoke spreadsheets for clients.
* Strong excel skills with ability to do basic coding, use VBA and have knowledge of API solutions.
* Be a technical and markets expert on all new feature product rollouts.
* Act as a liaison between Sales, Relationship Managers, Clients and Product Management including information on competitors and product feature requests.
Knowledge and Experience
Essential skills:
* Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience is required.
* Ability to use Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Outlook, Salesforce, Instant Messaging, and desktop trading/execution/market data systems.
* Qualifications: Understand key target industries, trends in industry, and emerging technologies.
Additional skills:
* Additional knowledge of Capital Markets (Exchange and/or OTC) and derivatives.
* Any prior exposure to the Exchange or OTC lifecycle of a trade.
* VBA coding.
* Working knowledge of internetworking and various LAN/WAN technologies.
* Working knowledge of router, switch, firewall, and proxy technologies.
* Apache, Akamai (CDN), DNS, LDAP, MySQL.

This role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week.
