Sales Project Manager
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Project Manager to join our team at Stadler.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, sales, and customer service. He/She will be responsible for managing sales projects from start to finish, including developing and implementing sales strategies, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Responsibilities:
Manage sales projects from start to finish, including developing and implementing sales strategies, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with vehicle sales team on tenders that take into account vehicle purchase and their long-term maintenance.
Prepare customer quotations, coordinate quotation team & work packages, quotation & time planning, progress checks, quality assurance of quotation documents.
Analyse contractual terms requested by the customer, recognise associated risks and propose mitigation solutions by suggesting adjustments to the contractual terms.
Cooperate with external service providers (consultants, lawyers, etc.).
Prepare and actively participate in sales meetings with management.
Collaborate on process optimisation.
Requirements:
* Techincal degree with further education (FH, equivalent, or higher)
* Experience in project management, team leadership and/or management responsibility is an advantage
* Core competences in business administration, commercial matters
* Strong ability to coordinate the various departments along the value chain and create harmonious interaction
* Team player
* Industry experience in the area of total solutions for complex services
* Understands maintenance concepts and knows how to apply them in the area of maintenance solutions for train fleets (or similar means of passenger transport)
* Has experience with service tenders and the awarding of contracts, understands their interrelationships and can recognise and assess risks
* Very good MS Office user skills
* Very good knowledge of German and English (written and spoken); business fluent
* Other languages of significant advantage
* Winning personality, independent, decisive and responsible
* Ability to come up with unconventional solutions
* High flexibility in terms of operational readiness, especially during the bid submission period
* Willingness to travel
