Temporary Lab Technician (Biology) 70% (m/f/d) Our company is looking for an independent lab technician to temporarily support our Services Process Development team during a maternity leave, preferably from June/July 2025 to February 2026.
Please note that we give preference to candidates that are open to distributing their workload across 4-5 working days of the week to ensure smooth continuation of wet-lab experiments.
Passaging, expanding, cryo-stocking and monitoring of mammalian cell cultures, incl. iPSC
Troubleshooting of cell culture incidents as well as unexpected results
General lab management duties incl. ordering of reagents, inventorying, stocking, aliquoting, etc.
Performing of genotyping, lysis, and PCR (using automation)
Your Profile Apprenticeship as a laboratory technician or a bachelor’s or master’s degree in cell biology, molecular biology, or a related field
At least 2 years of practical experience as a lab technician or lab manager in a cell biology laboratory, with first industry experience being of great advantage
Strong experience in mammalian cell culture with different cell lines
Experience with iPSC’s is of great advantage
Proficiency in troubleshooting unexpected results and solution finding
Strong organizational skills
Capable of working autonomously, proactively, as well as diligently in the lab
High proficiency in English (written and spoken)
