As a key driver of strategic development and sales growth, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and facilitating direct market development for Kistler's Business Incubator.
Main Tasks
Strategic Business Opportunities:
* Conduct market research to identify potential partners, trends, and emerging technologies.
* Foster a deep understanding of the target market and competitive landscape.
* Monitor and analyze trends, competitor activities, industry developments, technological advancements, and best practices to inform strategic decision-making.
Technology Partnerships:
* Pursue mutually beneficial relationships with technology partners, such as software vendors, hardware manufacturers, and start-ups.
* Engage with industry events, conferences, trade shows, and start-up events to identify potential partners.
* Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in the technology ecosystem to leverage expertise, gain insights into market trends, and explore synergies.
Sales and Revenue Growth:
* Develop and support sales strategies for existing and new Business Units to drive revenue growth and build new business based on technology.
* Identify potential customers, engage with them to understand their needs, and present our products/services as solutions.
* Negotiate contracts, pricing, and partnership agreements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
* Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to align business development efforts with company objectives.
Relationship Management:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key accounts.
* Act as a trusted advisor, understanding their evolving needs, and providing tailored solutions.
Requirements Profile
* Master's degree or higher in Engineering or a related field.
* In-depth knowledge of the high-tech start-up ecosystem, emerging technologies, and market trends.
* Proven work experience in business and/or strategic development within the international high-tech start-up industrial domain.
* Experience leading, developing, and integrating start-ups.
* Passion for technology, innovation, digitalization, and data value engineering.
* A personality with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and networking skills.
