IT System & Datacenter Administrator
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT System & Datacenter Administrator to join our team in Ecublens. As an integral part of our organization, you will be responsible for administering, securing, and optimizing our group's IT infrastructure and datacenters.
Key Responsibilities:
1. System Administration & IT Infrastructure:
* Manage operating systems: Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (RedHat, Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, etc.). Implement Active Directory policies, DNS, DHCP, ADFS, SSO. Utilize Intune, SCCM for workstation management. Manage Microsoft Exchange Online / Office 365.
* Administer virtualized environments: VMware vSphere, HyperV. Ensure HA cluster management, vMotion. Optimize performance and cost.
* Oversee storage solutions: SAN (HPE 3PAR, Nimble). Manage snapshot replication, and high availability.
* Supervise backup and disaster recovery (DR/BCP): Solutions: Veeam Backup & Replication. Validate Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP). Automate backups and generate reports. Manage Microsoft Team telephony.
2. Data Center & Cloud Management:
* Operate and maintain on-premise and hybrid datacenters.
* Manage cloud infrastructures (Azure) and SaaS solutions. Monitor and optimize energy consumption and capacity in datacenters. Administer monitoring and supervision solutions (Centreon, PRTG).
3. Security & IT Governance:
* Implement and maintain IT security policies (ISO 27001, Zero Trust, NIST). Secure access using IAM, MFA, SSO, Zero Trust. Deploy and manage endpoint protection solutions. Apply security patches, updates, and hardening strategies. Analyze security logs and events (SIEM, Splunk, ELK).
4. Support & Operations (Level 2 & 3):
* Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for complex incidents.
* Diagnose and resolve system and infrastructure failures. Collaborate with IT teams for continuous service improvement.
* Maintain and update technical documentation. Automate recurring tasks using PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible.
* Lead IT infrastructure evolution projects: Hybrid cloud migration / Server and storage modernization / BCP/DRP improvement. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners as relevant. Write technical specifications and monitor project budgets.
Requirements:
* Master's degree in IT, Systems & Network Administration, or equivalent.
* 10 years of experience in system administration and data center management. Microsoft Azure Cloud Certification & ITIL Service Management (foundation).
* Technical skills: Operating Systems: Windows Server, Linux. Virtualization: VMware, HyperV. Storage & Backup: SAN, NAS, Veeam, Commvault. Cloud: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud. Security: IAM, MFA, SIEM, Zero Trust. Automation: PowerShell, Python, Bash. Monitoring: Centreon.
* Problem-solving mindset, proactive. French/English proficiency. Ability to work in a team and provide technical mentoring.
