* Polyolefins Business Unit management, responsible for profit and loss, including further development of the strategy, market insights, go-to-market strategy, sales channels, product portfolio, customer relationships, supplier relationships, country management, and agent management.
* Driving the acquisition of suppliers and customers.
* Managing risk exposure (e.g., long/short positions).
* Ongoing market observation, competitive analysis, and strategic marketing; optimization of the BU's results and investment needs.
* Cross-selling activities through close collaboration with other Business Units/divisions and corporate functions, particularly digitalization and sustainability.
* Leading and developing the Product Management Team (4 direct reports).
Your success enablers are:
* Several years of experience working in commodity business as a Trader or Head Trader Desk in petrochemical/polymer or related sectors, preferably with an active customer portfolio.
* An understanding of market structure, regulations, and current opportunities.
* Strong analytical, decision-making, and leadership skills.
* A solution-oriented mindset, hands-on approach, and structured, independent work style.
* Commercial or financial degree-level education.
* Excellent English and German communication skills, with negotiation experience.
