We are currently looking for an Area Sales Manager (m/w/d) in the region of Zürich in Switzerland for one of our global clients in the Renewable Energy industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Achieve sales and growth targets within the assigned markets and accounts, including pipeline development, management, and forecasting.
2. Lead cross-functional teams/capture teams to present a competitive, differentiated solution and bids to customers.
3. Define bid pricing, positioning, and channel strategies.
4. Lead technical and commercial discussions, negotiations, and deal closing.
5. Proactively position systems, solutions, and new technology through customer seminars and workshops using the Presales resources.
6. Maintain excellent relationships with key players in the allocated market – End Customers, EPCs, Front End, and Geographic Sales, etc.
7. Gather market information to ensure updated market knowledge for planning and implementing appropriate market strategies.
8. Support development of business strategies and sales and growth plans for the Offshore Wind business.
Profile:
1. Electrical/Electronics Engineering background with at least 10 years of sales experience in the Utility Sector; Offshore Wind projects experience will be an advantage.
2. Strong know-how in the field of Substation Automation, Control, and Protection.
3. Conversant with commercial aspects of contracts in export business.
4. Proven sales record in the systems business in power grid automation will be an advantage.
5. Know-how of telecommunications systems.
6. Result-oriented, customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
7. Self-driven with strong initiative, team player with the ability to manage external and internal stakeholders.
