La Côte International School is a mixed, non-denominational all-through school situated in Aubonne, near Geneva and Lausanne in Switzerland. It delivers an English language education. Students are between the ages of 3-18, with a school roll of over 400 pupils across more than 40 different nationalities. It is a member of Nord Anglia Education Schools, a family of over 80 international boarding and private schools in 33 different countries around the globe, educating a total of nearly 90,000 pupils throughout all its schools. It works with a number of different forms of curriculum, including the English National Curriculum in the Early Years & Primary School stages, Bilingual French-English Swiss Maturité Stream and International Baccalaureates (IB) Middle Years and Diploma Programme.
The school has its origins in its first school Mont-sur-Rolle, a school with seven members of staff teaching 42 pupils. The student roll doubled by the end of the school’s first academic year, encouraging them to open a secondary school to serve a growing community from a larger campus. It joined Nord Anglia Education’s family of premium schools in September 2011, and moved to its current purpose-built Aubonne campus in 2014.
