Job Summary
We are seeking a Credit Analyst to join our Credit Analysis Division in Geneva. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing the financials of clients active in Commodity Trading and determining the associated risks.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct in-depth analysis of Financial Statements and assess Credit Approval Forms (CAFs) for clients in Commodity Trade Finance.
* Evaluate the credit worthiness of counterparties and provide recommendations to internal authorities.
* Apply and update internal credit ratings for debtor files.
* Review and validate major counterparty, broker, and insurance accreditation requests.
* Provide credit risk assessments for one-off transactions presented by the CTF department.
* Maintain regular contact with the CTF department and support Relationship Managers in transaction structuring and credit line setup.
Your Profile
* University degree in Economics or Finance or related field.
* At least 2-3 years' experience as a Credit Officer/Analyst with banks in commodity trade finance or an audit firm managing commodity trading clients.
* Comprehensive understanding of Commodity Trade Finance activities and instruments.
* Excellent analytical and communication skills.
* Ability to multitask and prioritize duties.
