Position Summary:
As a Senior Manufacturing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting technical and scientific manufacturing processes. This position requires a deep understanding of manufacturing systems, equipment, and processes, with a focus on recipe-driven operations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will oversee cross-functional projects, contribute to tech transfers, and ensure compliance and efficiency in manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on manufacturing equipment and processes, authoring technical instructions and records.
* Partner with leadership to allocate resources for tech transfers and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Lead and manage change controls, CAPAs, planned exceptions, and perform root cause investigations using TrackWise.
* Develop and implement new manufacturing techniques, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution.
* Identify and drive site-level and global continuous improvement opportunities.
* Provide coaching and training to team members and act as a deputy for the MTO Manager when required.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (preferred).
* A minimum of 8 years of direct experience in a GMP environment.
* Strong technical writing skills and proficiency in manufacturing systems (e.g., DeltaV, Syncade, SIMCA, PI, Oracle, TrackWise).
* Excellent documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple priorities effectively.
* High-level knowledge of QA, cGMP principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
