Job Title: Brand Ambassador / Sales Activator
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Location: Zurich, Switzerland, with Travel within territory
Salary: €50,000 - €75,000 per year (Approx. Fr47,000 - Fr70,500 local currency)
About the Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Brand Ambassador / Sales Activator to join an exciting international beverage company. This role focuses on sales, activations, and brand awareness within Switzerland, covering both the on-premise (hospitality, nightlife) and off-premise (retail, independent liquor stores) sectors.
The successful candidate will work closely with importers, key customers, and regional sales teams to drive volume, distribution, and brand presence while ensuring market success. This is a hands-on role, ideal for a proactive, results-driven sales professional with a strong background in the beverage alcohol industry.
Reporting to the International Sales Director and Regional Sales Manager, this position offers the chance to shape sales programming, manage budgets, and execute creative marketing activations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Brand Development:
* Drive sales and brand activation across assigned regions in Switzerland.
* Call on and activate key accounts in on-premise (hospitality, nightlife) and off-premise (retail, liquor stores) sectors.
* Develop and execute creative programs, including product tastings, activations, and marketing campaigns.
* Support importers in delivering sales plans and promotional strategies.
* Ensure effective sales programming, inventory management, and pricing strategies.
* Prevent stock shortages and plan for future growth.
* Monitor POS materials, advertising, displays, and menu placements to ensure brand visibility.
* Conduct regular market surveys to assess distribution, pricing, and brand execution.
Relationship Management:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with importers, key accounts, and sales representatives.
* Attend importer planning and sales meetings to align strategies and goals.
* Travel within Switzerland to engage with distributors, key buyers, and sales teams.
Reporting & Compliance:
* Track and report sales progress, ensuring clear communication with management.
* Maintain financial accountability and budget oversight for sales programs.
Requirements
* Experience: 1-3 years in sales, brand activation, or business development within the beverage alcohol industry.
* Communication Skills: Strong verbal and presentation skills with the ability to build relationships and engage customers.
* Languages: Fluency in German, French and English.
* Autonomy & Drive: Self-motivated, able to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
* Sales & Marketing Knowledge: Understanding of importer programming, pricing strategies, and distributor relationships.
* Organisation & Reporting: Ability to produce weekly/monthly reports and manage budgets effectively.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Mobility: Valid driver’s licence, with willingness to travel 4-5 days per week.
