Key Responsibilities
* Develop a comprehensive validation and verification plan for the ETCS/ATP system integration project into the vehicle, ensuring adherence to European standards.
* Review system requirements in relation to intended environment and use, identifying potential areas for improvement.
* Evaluate the conformity of development processes against assigned Safety Integrity Levels, ensuring compliance with EN standards.
* Verify the correctness, consistency, and appropriateness of test cases, executed tests, and test tools, providing approval or disagreement on developed versions as required.
* Conduct regular audits, inspections, and reviews of the project at various stages of its life cycle, ensuring that all validation and verification activities are performed according to EN standards.
About You
* Hold a degree in electrical or computer science engineering from a reputable institution (ETH/TU/FH) or equivalent training.
* Possess several years of professional experience in the railway industry, with a strong background in validation, verification, or functional safety.
* Be knowledgeable about relevant IEEE, UNISIG, and EN standards (e.g. EN 50126, EN 50129), with expertise in their application.
* Hold experience working with train control systems, preferably in a similar role.
* Be fluent in German and English, with excellent communication skills.
* Exhibit strong teamwork, independence, goal-orientation, and problem-solving abilities.
