Responsibilities Compile statistical analysis related to reservation trends, transfer connection, yield and seasonal variations to provide management relevant information.
Provide rate quotes and respond to queries on flight, schedule, tariff and shipment status in order to provide service to customers.
Evaluate and respond to customer queries on adhoc shipments. Conduct necessary follow-ups on large adhoc and contract rate requests and RFQs. Ensure responses provided to RFQs, securing necessary internal approvals before dispatching the offer to customers.
Monitor utilisation of allotments and pre-bookings, following up with customers to right size, cancel or renegotiate as needed.
Create and update import and departure records as well as inform customers with relevant post flight status of their shipments to provide service to customers and accurate information to network stations.
Accept reservations up to final destinations using independent judgement considering all parameters such as density mix, commercially important cargo and traffic trends in order to obtain optimum yield.
Responsible for Contract Rate filing, rate sheets and info visibility within the team. Handle all CASS refund claims.
Support the sales team with CRM maintenance, customer mailings, competitions, promotions and event management in order to improve customer engagement.
Create, monitor and submit commercial reports in a timely manner as per the requirements of the country / station to identify opportunities, trends and threats and support the sales team in data preparation.
Attend to customer complaints diligently and initiate tracer action and follow-up to maintain high service levels.
Qualifications & Experience Good standard of secondary education.
3+ years general cargo customer service / logistics experience with an airline and / or forwarder.
Highly numerate and accurate under pressure.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in German and English.
Self-motivated, and pro-active with the ability to work under own initiative.
Excellent planning and organisation skills.
