Responsibilities Identifying and configuring communication systems for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) to inspect oil pipelines.
Obtaining necessary frequency licenses from authorities and ensuring uninterrupted communication between ground station and UAVs for longer distances.
Modifying and testing communication and control systems based on market-available systems to fit specific needs.
Conducting functional and operational tests on systems both domestically and internationally.
Evaluating and analyzing collected data from inspections.
Qualifications In-depth experience and knowledge in electrotechnology, avionics, aircraft engineering, or physics with a background in the aviation industry.
Professional experience with the integration of satellite communication systems into aircraft or helicopters.
Familiarity with high-frequency systems and positioning of antennas.
Ability to obtain necessary frequency licenses from regional authorities.
Fluent in English; German proficiency is an advantage.
Experience in licensing and regulations within the aviation industry.
Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 1-2 times per year).
Familiarity with UAVs and their communication and control systems.
Proficient in evaluating and analyzing data collected through inspections.
