As a Key Account Manager, you will be a key representative of MaxWellBiosystems to our customers. You will be involved in sales and support activities, offering the best solutions to ensure the needs of our customers are met. You will be responsible for creating and managing long-term, trusting relationships with our users, as well as developing new business from existing clients with the aim of increasing our sales. You will be part of the team in Zurich, with a focus on North America. Your scientific expertise is valued by our users and is essential for the success of MaxWell Biosystems. Your Responsibilities Actively develop strong relationships with new and existing customers to maintain high standards of customer service.
Identify, advance, and close business opportunities.
Manage sales contracts and customer contacts.
Monitor the market and competition and analyze customer needs.
Cooperate with other departments at MaxWell Biosystems to achieve sales goals.
Represent MaxWell Biosystems at conferences and roadshows, as well as travel for onsite customer visits.
Comply with company policy and maintain a positive brand image.
Communicate all relevant customer information, including product and/or customer experience to Product Management, Application Development, Sales, and Marketing, keeping CRM up-to-date with customer information and interactions.
Your Profile MS/PhD degree in fields related to neuroscience / biotechnology / physiology.
Established experience in using microelectrode arrays and analyzing microelectrode array datasets – experienced users of MaxWell Biosystems’ HD-MEAs are encouraged to apply.
Knowledgeable in the field of iPSCs / organoids / neuroengineering, as well as experience in a similar position are a huge plus.
Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, experienced in interacting with scientists.
Willingness to travel up to ~40%.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Ability to work under time pressure.
Proven ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Enthusiastic, dynamic, self-motivated, multi-tasking and proactive person.
