They provide customers worldwide with advanced instrumentation and control systems for compressors, adhering to the highest safety and reliability standards. The team serves as the primary contact for both internal and external clients, offering support from sales consulting and project management to commissioning and after-sales service. Aufgaben - Provide both functional (matrix) and personnel leadership, collaborating closely with EI&C team leaders and heads of contracting across various divisions (6 direct reports, approximately 50 employees in total). - Develop, manage, and implement strategies, processes, and tools in alignment with group and divisional objectives. - Enhance global collaboration with the Global Support Center in India. - Oversee global competence, knowledge, and capacity management within the EI&C discipline, supported by regional teams and other global functions. - Ensure timely delivery and quality of deliverables for special projects. - Manage costs and adhere to allocated budgets for specific projects. - Continuously monitor and optimize engineering KPIs in close collaboration with the global Project Management Office. - Support sales and application engineering during the proposal phase on EI&C-related topics. - Assist in evaluating potential new suppliers in partnership with supply chain management and the quality department. - Organize and conduct regular EI&C events. Profil - Master's or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field. - At least 10 years of international experience in a similar industry (capital goods). - Proven track record in managing international engineering teams. - Experience in leadership within matrix organizations. - Fluency in English and German. - Team-oriented with a passion for customer satisfaction. - Flexible and positive attitude, capable of engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds. - Entrepreneurial mindset with strong economic awareness. - Highly motivated, pragmatic, and results-driven. - Systematic and strategic thinker.
