Join our team and help us shape the future of mobility!The Head of Sales at Stadler Service will have global responsibility for the sales of our extensive range of rail services. You will lead international teams and ensure that we continue to be successful in our bids to win important, complex projects and service contracts - from full-service contracts to refits and spare parts business. An essential part of your work is the successful management of tenders and the effective maintenance of long-term customer relationships.How you can make an impactStrategic and operational management of Service Division sales worldwide, reporting directly to the EVP of the Service Division.Successfully winning tenders: You will manage national and international tenders in the rail transportation sector and develop solutions to successfully acquire long-term service contracts, refits and spare parts business.Team leadership: You lead and motivate teams worldwide (30+ people) to achieve our ambitious sales targets.Business relationship: You develop and maintain long-term customer relationships with operators and customers.Stakeholder management: You and your team will work with our Engineering and Production teams worldwide to ensure a seamless handover from Sales into Service Delivery.Brand Ambassador: You will form a strong understanding of the Stadler product catalogue and act as an ambassador to the Stadler brand in the Rail industry.Ability to travel: You will travel about 20-40%, mainly within Europe, to support international customers and projects.How you will contributeA master's degree in engineering, business administration or a related field suitable for this role.Several years of experience in a customer-facing role in sales with a verifiable track record of success or revenue growth accomplishments, in the rail vehicle industry or in the after-sales area of complex technical systems.Strong experience in dealing with large tenders and in contract management for full-service and refit projects.Competence to efficiently manage and lead international teams.Fluent in German and English, other languages an advantage.Excellent communication, negotiation and intercultural skills and ability to travel (20-40%).What we offer youA key leadership role in an internationally successful company which offers you the opportunity to play an active role in shaping the future of rail transportation.An entrepreneurial culture in which you are empowered to make a significant contribution to the success of our global service division.Attractive remuneration and further training opportunities to promote your professional and personal development.Note:If you are interested in this position, we encourage you to apply, even if you have met some of the criteria, but not all the required experience.
