* Develop complex optomechanical assemblies, test and calibrate systems for the entire Leica Geosystems product portfolio.
* Design precision mechanical tools.
* Engage in creative project work in a multidisciplinary environment encompassing optics, laser technology, electronics, and software.

* Perform system tests with developed systems and measuring instruments, followed by commissioning with clients.
This is You
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, systems engineering, photonics, or comparable training.
* Proficiency in CAD/PLM systems (Siemens NX/Teamcenter).
* In-depth knowledge of technical optics, optomechanical system development, and image processing.
* Experience with MATLAB, Python, or other programming languages is a plus.
* Strong communication skills, team-oriented, and creative thinking.
* Genuine passion for technology.
* Ability to work independently, structured, and precisely with a hands-on mentality.
* Fluency in English and German (at least B2 level each).
