We're seeking an Operations Excellence Professional to join our team in Visp, Switzerland. This role involves supporting small- and mid-scale operations and development services by enhancing productivity through process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead interdisciplinary team meetings to conduct root cause analysis using structured methods.
* Document RCA processes, identified causes, actions, and responsibilities systematically.
* Develop and implement action plans with allocated resources and timelines.
* Train teams on RCA tools and foster a proactive error management culture.
* MEDIATE between departments and hierarchies, reporting progress to management.
* Evaluate and adjust action plan effectiveness.
* Apply statistical methods to assess deviations.
Your Profile:
* PhD or MSc degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
* Business fluency in English and German.
* Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt certification is advantageous.
* Solid knowledge of organic synthesis and production of chemical or pharmaceutical active ingredients, ideally with GMP experience.
* Several years of experience in production, quality management, or quality assurance in a regulated environment.
* Expertise in root cause analysis and structured problem-solving.
* Strong analytical skills to break down complex issues.
* Proficiency in RCA tools and continuous improvement processes.
* Effective presentation and communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal, mediation, and team collaboration skills.
* High initiative and sense of responsibility.
