Data Specialist
Due to the growth of the Gold Standard Foundation, our Digital Systems team is seeking a Data Specialist responsible for managing data systems from design to implementation.
This role is ideal for an experienced Data Specialist who can work with autonomy and introduce their preferred methods while utilizing cutting-edge technology to aid in the continuous evolution of the Gold Standard Foundation and its systems.
Remote workers can be based out of the UK, Germany, or Czech Republic. Hybrid workers based in Geneva or commutable to the office will spend a minimum of 2 days a week in the office.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
1. Developing a centralised data platform that integrates data from various business applications, operational systems, and custom sources.
2. Enabling efficient data processing, analytics, and reporting by leveraging advanced data integration techniques and tools.
3. Facilitating data-driven decision-making across the organisation by providing comprehensive insights into various aspects of the organisation's operations and projects.
4. Proactively identifying and addressing data quality issues to ensure accurate and reliable data.
5. Developing and implementing data management strategies that promote data sharing and collaboration across different departments and teams.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
1. Extensive experience in managing data systems from design to implementation.
2. A degree or equivalent in information systems, computer science, data management, data engineering, or a related field.
3. Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
4. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft DP-203, DP-300, DP-600.
Technical skills required for the role of Data Specialist:
1. SQL and noSQL data and database management.
2. Spark/PySpark, PowerBI with M & DAX, R.
3. MS Fabric, Databricks, Data factory, Warehouses and Lakehouses, Data pipeline.
4. API development.
5. Familiarity with Power Platform and dMRV standards and tools.
