Commercial Manager
We are searching for an experienced Commercial Manager at our MSC Geneva facility, responsible for managing and developing relationships with key accounts.
The successful candidate will oversee direct sales initiatives on a global scale, build and maintain strong relationships with clients, manage day-to-day client requests, and develop strategies to increase business across all key categories.
Key Responsibilities:
* Global Direct Sales Management: Drive direct sales initiatives on a global scale, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
* Client Relationship Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to maximize satisfaction and loyalty.
* Strategic Growth Planning: Develop strategies to increase business across all key categories, including Value-Added Services, Warehousing, and Full Truck Load (FTL) solutions.
Required Qualifications:
* At least 10 years experience in sales, commercial management, or related roles within logistics, freight forwarders, 3PL or transport industries.
* Strong knowledge of intermodal transportation and warehousing.
* Excellent strategic planning and problem-solving abilities, as well as financial acumen to manage budgets, costs, and profitability.
* Ability to work collaboratively with global teams and departments, and proficiency in responding to RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs with attention to detail.
