Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Asia Supply Chain and Order Management Specialist to handle our supplier relationships and order management from Asia. This position requires a professional with a deep understanding of Asian export markets and the ability to streamline our supply chain operations, reduce costs, and enhance our service delivery to Swiss clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and optimize relationships with suppliers in Malaysia, Thailand, and China, ensuring efficient ordering processes and reliable delivery schedules.
* Communicate directly with overseas suppliers, addressing any logistical or product-related issues to maintain seamless import operations.
* Collaborate with our Swiss clients to understand their needs, facilitate order fulfillment, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
* Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement within the supply chain.
* Serve as the cultural and linguistic bridge between our Asian suppliers and Swiss clientele to ensure accurate and efficient communication.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in international trade, specifically managing exports from Asia to Europe or Switzerland.
* Proficiency in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Malay and French (B2 level or higher), with strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Deep understanding of Asian markets, particularly Malaysia, Thailand, and China, with a cultural background that enhances relationship-building with suppliers.
* Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex logistics and multiple supplier relationships effectively.
