Job Summary
We are seeking a Quality Manager to develop and implement local quality procedures and work instructions. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting internal and external quality audits, managing delivery and acceptance events, and handling QA-related issues with local subcontractors and suppliers.
Responsibilities
* Quality Procedures: Develop and implement local quality procedures and work instructions to align with contractual requirements, local standards, and the Quality Management System.
* Audits and Reviews: Conduct internal and external quality audits and reviews to ensure compliance with quality standards.
* Data Packages: Prepare, collect (from vendors), review, and submit comprehensive data packages to customers.
* Delivery and Acceptance Events: Manage delivery and acceptance events (e.g., materials, platforms) in collaboration with customers.
* QA-Related Issues: Handle QA-related issues with local subcontractors and suppliers.
* Non-Conformances: Investigate and analyze non-conformances through Root Cause Analysis and coordinate approvals with customers.
* Source Inspection: Perform Source Inspection at sub-contractor's facilities.
* Incoming Goods: Conduct acceptance inspections on incoming goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Requirements
* Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management.
* Background: Background in Electronics, Mechanics, or System Engineering – an advantage.
* Knowledge: Knowledge in Swiss Federal Acts requirements – an advantage.
* Quality Conformity Audits: Experience in quality conformity audits.
* Source Inspections: Hands-on experience in source inspections of cables, mechanical and electrical assemblies, and complex systems.
