About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Fiber Engineering Project Manager to lead our dark fiber and fiber engineering projects from award to completion. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our team and drive project success.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Management: Effectively manage multiple dark fiber and fiber engineering projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and schedule.
* Issue Mitigation: Proactively identify and mitigate issues that may impact budget or schedule.
* Communication: Communicate effectively with senior management, customers, and internal teams to ensure project success.
* Leadership: Lead internal and external deployment meetings, identify project roadblocks, and implement changes as necessary.
* Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as entitlement lead during weekly customer meetings and comprehend matters related to state & local telecommunication municipal codes.
* Pre-Project Planning: Lead pre-project planning meetings and coordinate with internal and external resources.
* Municipal Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with municipalities, including Code Enforcement Staff, Building Inspectors, City Councils, Planning & Zoning Staffs, Commissions, and neighborhood groups.
* Vendor Management: Manage internal and external vendors to ensure timely receipt of deliverables and cost management.
* Quality Control: Ensure accurate and complete files are maintained, and appropriate documents are distributed in a timely manner.
* Escalation: Escalate matters when needed to ensure timely project completion.

Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent work experience.
* Industry Experience: Wireless industry experience preferred.
* Zoning and Permitting Experience: Zoning and permitting experience preferred.
* Multi-Tasking: Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
* Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented and demonstrates good organizational skills.
* Software Proficiency: Proficient in Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook.
* GIS Knowledge: Knowledge of Google Earth and Municipal GIS systems is a plus.
* Construction Drawings: Knowledge of how to read construction drawings is a plus.
* Home Office: Home office area and ability to work from home.
* Travel: Ability to occasionally travel within the U.S. as the job requires.
