Your Key Responsibilities
* You will industrialize and optimize engine piece part repair processes, ensuring compliance with OEM prerequisites. This involves leading the industrialization of special processes such as adhesive bonding, sealing, and coating (organic/inorganic), and collaborating closely with shop floor operations.
* You will work on Adhesive Bonding, Composite Repairs, Silicone Sealants/Rubbers, Application of organic/inorganic Paint Systems, and Dry Lubricant, defining standardized repair processes based on applicable quality and compliance standards.
* You will ensure the quality and compliance requirements of OEMs, customers, and internal standards are met, supporting operations to achieve these goals.
* You will improve implemented repair procedures using state-of-the-art technologies, including experimental verification and compliant documentation of modified procedures.
* You will evaluate and document alternative production materials, collaborating with external suppliers and OEMs.
* You will conduct continuous process improvement under your responsibility, resulting in improved safety, quality, delivery, and costs for customers.
* You will provide coaching and training to operations colleagues, ensuring best-in-class manufacturing principles.
* You will support industrialization projects according to plan, define mitigations when necessary, and support the industrialization of new repairs and renewal of existing repairs.
Your Profile
* You have hands-on experience in bonding, sealing, or coating applications.
* You possess sound technical knowledge of materials and processes involved.
* Aerospace business and legislation experience is an asset.
* You have a proactive, positive, and flexible character, with a strong execution mentality and ability to work autonomously and within teams on complex tasks.
* You are willing to support and coach colleagues from operations in technical aspects.
* You have experience in project management, lean, and quality methodologies.
* You hold a scientific/technical degree (MSc or BSc) in a relevant field (chemistry, material science, engineering) or equivalent experience in similar industries.
* You are fluent in English (Level C1); German (Level B1) is an advantage.
