Our Head of Product role:
The Head of Product will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the product vision across innovative fintech platforms. These positions offer a unique opportunity to lead product strategy, development, and market expansion, blending strategic oversight with hands-on execution.
You will work closely with the CEO and key stakeholders to define a roadmap that meets the distinct needs of each platform's user base while driving cross-functional collaboration with technology, design, and operations teams to deliver exceptional products. As the product leader, you’ll be responsible for fostering a culture of innovation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining a high-performance environment that aligns with our long-term goals.
This role requires a dynamic, adaptable leader who can effectively balance the demands of a fast-paced fintech ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Leadership: Collaborate closely with the CEO and management teams to define and execute the strategic vision across both projects, balancing high-level strategy with detailed product planning and execution.
* Product Development and Innovation: Lead product roadmaps, incorporating user research, competitive analysis, and emerging trends to drive unique offerings for the project.
* Execution and Delivery: Partner with the Head of Technology to ensure high-quality, timely delivery, from product ideation through to launch, supporting multiple launches across various regions.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Guide and inspire cross-functional teams, including technology, growth, design, and operations, to meet strategic objectives and scale effectively.
* Performance Metrics and Optimization: Set and track key product KPIs, consistently analyzing and optimizing to improve user satisfaction, engagement, and platform performance.
* Compliance and Regulatory Collaboration: Work closely with Compliance teams to gather requirements, particularly in regulated markets, to ensure products meet regional standards and adhere to applicable regulations.
* Team Leadership: Lead and develop the product management teams, fostering a culture of innovation, customer focus, and collaboration.
Key Criteria
This description covers multiple Head of Product opportunities across our projects; therefore, candidates need not meet all listed criteria, as specific requirements may vary depending on the project focus.
* Experience with Neobanks and payments: Proven background in neobank / payments environments with a deep understanding of payment rails, IBANs, multi-currency payments, and regulatory requirements.
* Product Scaling: Demonstrated experience in scaling products, ideally with a track record of reaching 1 million+ active users across international markets.
* Global Platform Launch: Track record of launching products in multiple regions, adapting to various regulatory and user requirements.
* 3rd Party Knowledge: Familiarity with 3rd party platforms that could add value to our product through API integration.
* Trading Platform Expertise: Knowledge of real-time trading analytics, trade optimization, and experience with API integrations to support a high-frequency trading environment.
* Experience with Market Makers and Liquidity Protocols: Familiarity with market maker operations or liquidity protocols to enhance trading and financial solutions.
* Experience with Centralized Exchanges: Practical experience working with centralized exchanges, with an understanding of their operations, compliance, and user requirements.
* Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of third-party platforms and APIs, including integrations for banking services and trading data sources.
* Customer and Market Insight: Ability to leverage market research and user insights to prioritize features, keeping customer needs and market trends central to product evolution.
* Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring product teams, coupled with a strategic approach to aligning team efforts with business objectives.
* Execution and Delivery Focus: Ability to work collaboratively with technology leaders to ensure efficient delivery and execution of products while balancing the needs of both user experience and technical feasibility.
* Adaptability and Strategic Vision: Proven track record of strategic guidance and adaptability, especially in dynamic and fast-paced environments like fintech and trade tech.

Recruitment process:
1. Screening - 40 mins: During this meeting, the TA Partner will tell you more about ICEO, and our strategy, and you will be asked questions about your experience and approach.
2. First interview - 1 h: An in-depth discussion with Tony (VP of Product), focusing on the candidate’s product management experience (with examples), specific project experience, technical skills and strategic vision for the platform.
3. Second Interview: Leadership Skills - 1.15 h: Leadership experience discussed with People Business Partner, and examples outlined.
4. Team Culture Check - 45 mins: A meeting to evaluate the candidate’s compatibility with the team’s culture, collaboration style and communication skills.
5. Final Stage: Board meeting - 1.5 h: A comprehensive interview with the CEO and Tony to assess the candidate’s capabilities, long-term vision and potential impact on the company’s success.
