Accounting | Part-Time | St. Gallen, Schweiz Meteomatics is growing faster than you can say lightning! To keep up, we are looking to grow our Accounting-Team in St.Gallen, looking for a Senior Accountant with experience in an international environment.
Your responsibilities Oversee and manage financial accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Swiss and international accounting standards.
Handle financial reporting for our subsidiaries, collaborating with local accounting firms.
Manage payroll accounting, ensuring timely and accurate processing for employees.
Work on compliance topics, including tax filings, audits, and regulatory reporting.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including reconciliation and consolidation of financial statements.
Provide financial insights and support business decision-making by preparing financial reports and analyses, optimize financial processes and implement best practices.
Your qualifications Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications are a plus.
5+ years of accounting experience in an international environment .
Experience handling subsidiaries and collaborating with local accounting firms to ensure compliance with regional requirements.
Knowledge of payroll accounting and familiarity with Swiss payroll regulations.
Understanding of Swiss GAAP FER and/or IFRS accounting principles.
Experience with ERP and Payroll systems ; NetSuite and Abacus experience is a plus .
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills in English and German.
