The Process Engineer for Pulses is part of the Business Unit (BU) Special Grains and Pulses reporting directly to the Head of the Business Segment Pulses.
He/she accompanies the full segments M2M and C2C process with its technology expertise, advising on new technology developments, elaborating technology concepts for customer inquiries, releasing process diagrams and leading startups. He/she supports the global sales and technology organization when seeking technological and sales advice for the products and services of the segment.
This is where you'll excel As a Senior Process Egineer you take over the support of sales, quotation, and project execution in technological matters
You are responsible for the customer consulting on technology and spare and wear parts, retrofit packages, service contracts, and eBusiness solutions as well as for technological training of customer personnel
You create flowsheets for pulses and protein applications, including all relevant details up to control and approval
You are responsible for establishing solutions for customers and their own under consideration of standard processes and ongoing research and development
You perform plant start-ups of complex solutions including all documentation as well as control system acceptance procedures
You take over the coordination and support of trials in Application Centers
You develop and roll out standards globally, support in application and training of organization as well as new developments (M2M) with complete solution approach, technological know-how and customer insights
These are the skills you'll need Apprenticeship as a Miller, preferred background with SMS or DMSB, completed diploma course in Feed Milling Technology (SFT) or 2-5 years work experience in a similar function
Advanced knowledge in flour/feed/specialty milling process technology (fields beyond milling e.g. extrusion are of advantage)
English proficiency, German desired; any additional foreign language would be an asset
Systematic and efficient problem-solving abilities as well as highly independent, self-motivated and engaged
Explaining, consulting and good time management skills as well as ability to manage conflicts and to work in diverse and multicultural teams
Highly customer-driven with competent appearance, past customer facing experience of advantage
Readiness to travel internationally (20% - 50%)
