For an international corporate leader in its industry, offering a structured and dynamic environment, we are seeking a Head of HR.
The Head of HR, reporting directly to the General Manager of the Business Unit, will oversee the HR function for all related processes, with a specific focus on the two sites located in Switzerland.
This role is pivotal in supporting business and operations functions during a planned development phase that will see significant headcount growth over the next three years.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR roles within similar business environments in Switzerland, a comprehensive understanding of Swiss labor laws, and expertise in workforce flexibility management, talent acquisition, talent and performance management, and employee relations.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the HR budget for the assigned Business Unit (BU), ensuring compliance with corporate policies and directives;
* Act as the main point of contact for all HR processes, supporting employees and managers. Build strong relationships with the business and operations teams to align HR strategies with business goals;
* Oversee workforce management, including labor law compliance, disciplinary processes, and employee relations;
* Define salary levels for employees in line with budget constraints, ensure alignment with market standards and organizational goals;
* Promote initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce absenteeism;
* Support organizational analysis and propose solutions to align structures with business strategies;
* Oversee recruitment, performance evaluation, career planning, and salary reviews for employees under your responsibility, in coordination with the HQ;
* Prepare HR-related reports (e.g., absenteeism, overtime, headcount, leave management, and personnel costs);
* Lead, motivate, and support any HR team members (2 HC), ensuring they achieve their objectives and develop their skills;
* Implement, monitor, and utilize HRIS systems as per European Headquarters and central HR directives;
* Ensure compliance with occupational safety regulations (e.g., Swiss labor law).
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in economics, labor law, or related disciplines;
* At least 6 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within multinational or large national companies. Experience in Switzerland is essential;
* Strong knowledge of all HR areas, including administration, personnel costs, and labor law;
* Proven expertise in workforce flexibility management and labor compliance;
* Experience in talent acquisition, talent management, and performance management processes;
* Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HRIS systems;
* Fluent in English, French is a plus;
* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities;
* Pragmatism, problem-solving skills, and a results-oriented mindset;
* Flexibility and a strong ability to adapt to change;
* Analytical skills and customer-focused approach.
