You'll play a key role in designing and managing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions, contributing to one of Switzerland's largest private cloud projects. What You'll Do: As the ICT System Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of building and maintaining a robust PKI infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include: - Design & Implementation: Lead the design, implementation, and management of PKI infrastructure, including Certification Authorities (CAs), Registration Authorities (RAs), and associated services. - Certificate Administration: Manage certificates for applications, devices, and users, both internally and externally. - Policy Development: Establish security policies, procedures, and best practices for PKI service management. - Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Oversee PKI-related services, handling certificate renewals, revocations, and ensuring system health. - Systems Integration: Integrate PKI solutions with enterprise applications, networks, and security protocols (e.g., VPN, SSL/TLS, email signatures). - HSM Management: Implement and manage Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) for secure key storage. - Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with security, network, and application teams to ensure compliance with security standards. - Automation & Optimisation: Develop automation solutions for efficient certificate management and streamline PKI processes. - Documentation & Training: Create and maintain technical documentation and security policies, and provide PKI-related training and support for internal teams. Who You Are: You're someone with a strong background in PKI and a passion for cybersecurity. You thrive in collaborative environments and bring expertise in encryption, automation, and network security. You'll need to be proactive, adaptable, and ready to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. What You Bring: - Education & Certification: Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or similar. Certifications like CISSP, CISM, or Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals are advantageous. - Experience: Several years of hands-on experience implementing and managing PKI solutions in enterprise environments. - Technical Expertise: Proficiency in PKI software (e.g., Microsoft CA, OpenSSL, EJBCA, Venafi) and HSMs, as well as automation skills with PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languages. - Network Security Knowledge: A solid grasp of network security architectures and authentication protocols (LDAP, SCEP, OCSP). - Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with an eye for troubleshooting and optimising complex systems. - Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts.
