Your position
Finances
1. Manage the accounts of projects and corresponding payment transactions in line with the respective grant agreements.
2. Provide financial and administrative support to implementing partners (remotely).
3. Record expenses in the accounting system, conducting controlling tasks and ensuring periodical financial reporting to donors.
4. Prepare the financial and administrative documents of projects for external audits.
5. Acquisition support: support preparation of budget and other relevant documents for project proposals.
Event and travel management
1. Support project teams with travel arrangements (visa, travel, insurance, accommodation).
2. Provide logistical support for workshops and conferences.
Your profile
1. Education in the field of business administration (BA) or commercial training.
2. Knowledge of financial accounting; knowledge in event management is an asset.
3. Work experience is an asset.
4. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV is an asset.
5. Good command of English (C1 or higher) and understanding of German (B1-B2 or higher); proficiency in Arabic and/or French and/or Spanish are important assets.
6. Cultural sensitivity and strong communication skills.
7. Strong organizational skills, reliability and paying attention to detail.
8. Excellent MS Office skills.
9. Availability for occasional travels.
