Sales Manager for an Independent Vineyard
Overview
We have an excellent, newly created opportunity for an experienced German-speaking Salesperson who has knowledge or a background in the Food and Drink industry, ideally in Wine, to help in the development and growth across the Swiss market.
The position will report into the General Manager of a historic and independent vineyard that has recently undergone a modern upgrade, based in Suisse Romande. Due to exciting growth plans, they are now looking to develop their client base across German-speaking Switzerland.
This is a remote-based role that will require someone who is based in the German-speaking part of Switzerland.
Main Responsibilities
* Responsible for developing clients and sales across the German-speaking areas of Switzerland.
* Providing support and advice to customers.
* Developing partnerships and participating in relevant events in the wine industry, for example fairs, exhibitions, and parties.
* You will have 3 years of successful experience developing business and sales within the food and drink industry, ideally in the field of wine and spirits.
* Good knowledge or a higher education gained in the wine sector.
* The ability to develop strong working relationships with clients and companies in German-speaking Switzerland.
* Fluency in Swiss German and German; good English or French is also required.
* Excellent sales management and strong interpersonal skills.
* Highly autonomous and dynamic.
