Senior Sourcing Partner - Lifescience Biotech
Serve as global Senior Legal Counsel with main focus on the Procurement (mainly indirect) and secondary focus on Data/Digital & IT within Operations as well as key lawyer within the Global Procurement, Data/Digital and IT Legal team. Advises the Procurement Categories and when needed D/D & IT Procurement and business function regarding complex agreements & projects. Act as a legal business partner to relevant Procurement and where needed to Data/Digital & IT (Procurement) clients on global level.
Your Tasks:
* Provide proactive, timely, and business-oriented legal advice to clients within the global Procurement and/or Data/Digital & IT functions on day-to-day, as well as on strategic and governance matters.
* Oversee, lead, and execute the drafting, review, and negotiation of various types of contracts related to the sourcing of goods and services from third parties and the provision of services to other companies in the categories of Procurement and/or Data/Digital & IT.
* Act as a legal business partner to relevant Procurement & D/D & IT clients on a global level.
* Drive innovation and actively contribute to new strategies supporting Procurement & D/D & IT goals as well as new legal technologies.
* Provide relevant training to clients in Procurement and Data/Digital & IT.
* Serve as a global Senior Legal Counsel with a main focus on procurement (mainly indirect) and a secondary focus on Data/Digital & IT within Operations.
* Manage significant global projects within the Global Procurement, Data/Digital & IT Legal function in close alignment with the Head Legal Global Procurement, Data/Digital & IT.
* Lead the drafting and negotiation of various types of complex commercial agreements.
* Support the Head Legal global Procurement, Data/Digital & IT in the development and execution of the overall Procurement, Data/Digital & IT Legal strategy.
Your Qualification:
* Minimum 6+ years post-bar experience or 12 years after Swiss master of law, gained either within a multinational corporation and/or top-tier law firm.
* Substantial, relevant experience in leading large and complex legal transactions in Procurement and Data/Digital & IT.
Key Performance Indicators:
* Satisfaction of the Procurement and D/D IT clients (perceived as real business partner), and by other functions and divisions, as an expert and key contributor.
* Effective and efficient legal execution of key projects to drive legal services excellence.
* Transparent & clear communication on all legal aspects, risks, implications allowing the client to appreciate its contractual and statutory obligations, and to assist management decision-making processes by providing robust risk and legal assessments.
* Problem solving “can do attitude”.
* Innovative approach, drives know-how building and exchange.
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines and priorities.
