Herzog & de Meuron is hiring a design technologies BIM manager with a focus on training to join its team in Basel, Switzerland.

We are seeking a design technologies BIM manager to join our design technologies (DT) team in Basel immediately.
Your profile
Education and experience:
* diploma or master’s degree in architecture (university of applied sciences or university)
* minimum five years in architectural practice and three years of hands-on BIM training, implementation, or management.
Technical expertise:
* advanced expertise in Autodesk Revit and Computational Design (Rhino, Grasshopper). Enscape proficiency is a plus
* experience in training architectural teams on BIM workflows and design technology tools
* experience with BIM coordination platforms (Autodesk Construction Cloud, Revizto) is an advantage
Leadership and collaboration:
* strong communication, training, and mentoring skills
* ability to design and implement structured BIM training programs
* experience coordinating knowledge-sharing initiatives within architectural teams
* fluency in English is required, German is an advantage
This role ensures the strategic development and implementation of BIM across all project phases while driving training initiatives to enhance digital skills within the office. As a DT team member, you will refine digital workflows, establish best practices, and ensure BIM methodologies align with design and execution goals. Working closely with architectural teams, consultants, and clients, you will lead in-person training programs while integrating digital learning platforms.

Key responsibilities:
* develop and implement structured BIM training programs to enhance Revit and Rhino skills. Collaborate with our Video Training platform service
* refine and optimise the training concept, ensuring it meets project needs
* lead in-person workshops and training sessions on BIM, computational design, and essential digital design tools
* support project teams in applying BIM methodologies effectively from concept to construction
