About the Role
As the L&H Head Cash Flow Production, you have a key role in the Accounting and Operations Team of Global Finance Operations and Transformation. Your main task is to oversee the quality and the validation of the L&H cash flows which are used as an input for the IFRS financial closing for both the Group and the Local entities, as well as for the Swiss Solvency Test (SST) and the Asset Liability Management Process.
You will manage a mid-sized team of actuarial experts and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team based in Zürich, Bratislava and Bangalore to ensure high quality financial statements.
With a flawless understanding of the L&H cash flows, IFRS standard and our IFRS valuation engines, you will also be in charge of preparing the manual adjustments to cash flows. You and your team will be the main point of contact for manual cash flows adjustments for our stakeholders, including regional valuation reserving actuaries, IT business analysts and developers.
In addition, you will work as part of a team to drive the finance transformation projects within our department. This requires a good understanding of cash flow modelling, interest in learning our new Finance IT landscape and having an end-to-end view of the Group reporting process.
Key Responsibilities:
* You manage the L&H Cashflow Production and Controlling team
* You are in charge of the L&H Cashflow production process of IFRS and SST
* You lead the manual adjustment process for L&H cash flows, on assumed and retroceded business, and work closely with the regional valuation reserving actuaries and Finance colleagues
* You create automation solutions and suggest process improvement ideas, especially for the cash flow controlling activities
* You support the transformation projects with IT and business stakeholders to enhance our reporting landscape
About You
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
* Qualified actuary (FSA, FIA, DAV, SAV) or degree in a quantitative field such as Economics or Mathematics etc., with proven track record in L&H cash flow analysis
* Understanding of and experience working with IFRS in an (re)insurance setting
* Data management and good programming skills (Python, VBA, R)
* Previous experience working in actuarial / finance / IT projects advantageous
* Previous experience working in reinsurance a plus
