Tasks
* Design, develop, and maintain our diverse web platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience and scalable solutions.
* Architect and refine our data pipelines and data warehouse to guarantee high-quality, reliable data that drives informed decision-making.
* Design, develop, and thoroughly document our internal backtesting Python library, supporting robust and efficient strategy evaluations.
* Collaborate with the investment team to refine existing trading strategies and implement innovative new ones.
* Propose and explore new ideas to enhance our investment processes, from data acquisition and analysis to trade execution.
* Make a meaningful impact across the company’s entire tech stack, working closely with the CTO and a fellow Software Engineer to achieve ambitious goals.
Requirements
Education & Technical Skills:
* BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a related field.
* A few years of experience in a similar position, ideally in a small company environment.
* Strong technical background with proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
* Hands-on experience with key libraries and frameworks, such as Pandas, NumPy, and Vue.js.
* [Nice to Have] Familiarity with cloud-native architectures (e.g., Google Cloud Platform).
* [Nice to Have] Experience working with the Snowflake Data Platform.
Personal Attributes:
* A strong drive to tackle complex challenges and quickly learn new technologies.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively in English.
* Comfortable working in a small company environment (we are <10 people), where you’ll engage with diverse topics and wear multiple hats instead of focusing narrowly on one specialty.
Location & Work Authorization:
* Based in Switzerland, ideally near the Lausanne area.
* Legally authorized to work in Switzerland.
Additional Assets:
