About Indirect Purchasing Team in Autoliv
The Indirect Purchasing team is responsible for driving category strategies and positioning itself as a strategic partner for our stakeholders. Our goal is to guarantee a balanced supplier selection and maximize the value delivered by Indirect Purchasing.
We are seeking an experienced Global Category Buyer - IT & Telecom to lead our Indirect Purchasing roadmap.
Job Description
* Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement cutting-edge procurement strategies for Global IT, aligning with Autoliv's objectives and goals.
* Supplier Excellence: Identify and evaluate top-tier suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality goods and services.
* Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide expert guidance on sourcing options and best practices.
* Innovation: Stay ahead of market trends and technological advancements to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
* Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior procurement team members, sharing your expertise and best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in IT sourcing, with a proven track record in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
* Strong understanding of IT services and related technologies, with familiarity in state-of-the-art sourcing strategies like e-auctions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
* Ability to work independently in a matrix organization, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in procurement tools and systems, preferably with experience in SAP, S2P, and CLM systems.

The role is based in Zug and will report to Global Category Manager – IT & Telecom. We require a valid work permit authorizing you to legally work in Switzerland.
