Job Overview
The Manufacturing Science (MSci) department is the owner of the process, with this team of Subject Matter Experts playing a key role in addressing complex issues and projects involving the product.
MSci Laboratory Specialist DSP serves as the Subject Matter Expert for lab-scale product/process at Neuchatel, overseeing planning and execution of 'scale down' purification activities, providing support to the DSP laboratory team on protocol execution, troubleshooting production problems, and improving process robustness at laboratory scale.
Your Contributions
1. Support the Senior Laboratory Specialist in planning and executing 'scale down' purification activities.
2. Execute protocol-related tasks.
3. Investigate and assess product impact in protocols/studies deviations related to the product.
4. Develop and implement process/equipment improvement projects, including technology transfer.
5. Conduct small-scale/scale-down product validation activities.
6. Compose reports and review documents.
Manage documentation for laboratory activities.
Oversee laboratory equipment under your responsibility, ensuring maintenance and resolving operating issues independently.
Coordinate inventory and manage stocks of consumables necessary for laboratory activities, contributing to laboratory logistics.
Your Qualifications
* Familiarity with GMP environments and quality requirements.
* Bachelor or Master's degree in biochemistry, biotechnology, or relevant scientific field.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in process development.
* Theoretical knowledge of proteins and chromatography/UF processes.
* Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
* Effective verbal and written communication at multiple organizational levels.
* Proficiency in French and English (C1 level).
* Good understanding of Unicorn software.
* Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and LIMS.
