The 360 Labs Initiative: Accelerating Science
We're building a new capability within pRED - the 360 Labs. Our primary goal is to provide greater access and support for cutting-edge biomedical research technologies across our discovery portfolio.
As an integrated ecosystem, the 360 Lab environment delivers core scientific technologies, expertise and enabling activities. It also facilitates knowledge sharing and learning experiences in close collaboration with therapeutic areas and functions. This effort increases the speed, enhances the robustness and improves the sustainability of our exploratory research and early discovery activities.

Your Mission and Impact
We're seeking a Data Management Lead for OMICS-related data. You'll have a strong background in Next-Generation Sequencing and / or Proteomics, with expertise in developing and implementing FAIR data management strategies and best practices. You'll collaborate closely with lab scientists and bioinformaticians from the Genomics and Proteomics 360 Labs, as well as with experts from therapeutic disease areas and functions.
Your Role and Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement strategies and best practices for efficient data collection, storage, integration, quality control and analysis to support research initiatives and drive scientific discovery.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including scientists, bioinformaticians and software developers to understand data management needs and ensure effective management and utilization of all OMICS-related data.
3. Define data governance policies, procedures and standards to ensure compliance with relevant guidelines following best practices for FAIR data management.
4. Participate in the development / implementation of LIMS platforms and efforts focused on integrating various different types of OMICS-related data streams.
5. Ensure existing tools and workflows are kept up to date, and stay abreast of advancements in OMICS technologies, data management and bioinformatics methodologies to identify opportunities to automate workflow and streamline processes.
Your Profile
1. Graduate degree (MS degree with 3-5 years research experience or a PhD degree with 1-3 years research experience) in biology, biochemistry, chemistry or a related discipline with a background in molecular biology and FAIR data management.
2. Familiarity with emerging trends and technology developments in Next-Generation Sequencing and / or Proteomics spaces.
3. Analytical thinker with the ability to translate scientific needs into innovative solutions to address complex data management challenges.
4. Experience with data governance frameworks and compliance requirements in biological data management.
5. Familiarity with databases, bioinformatics tools and programming languages commonly used in OMICS-related data analyses and interpretation.
