About the Role
Diageo Switzerland is part of Diageo Northern Europe: a cluster consisting of Benelux, GASP & Nordics. It is a diverse and exciting business with local and global customers operating across on-trade, off trade and RTM. Your role will be focused on a region within the Swiss Market across the On Trade which includes bars, restaurants and clubs. In this role, you will rapidly learn about the industry Diageo operates in.
Responsibilities include:
1. Distribution and Sales driver execution/activation
o Focus on the sell-in of Diageo portfolio and brand activations at current, and new business partners
o Ability to understand customer requirements and match these to specific Diageo propositions
o Analysing performance of activations in outlets
2. Being a (sales) professional
o Seeking new business opportunities in the on-trade in partnership with colleagues
o Strong ownership of the day-to-day customer relationship efficiency through structured brand/solution sell-in, persuasion and conflict resolution skills
3. Operational excellence in execution and efficiency
o Structured, organized, efficient planning, personal ownership, and clear communication skills to internal and external partners
o Operating with a clear set of priorities, adjusting for opportunities and obstacles
o Ability and confidence to make the necessary informed recommendations required to ensure activities are successfully delivered and adjusted/course corrected as required
About You
* At least a year of professional experience in a commercial role, preferably in FMCG
* University degree
* Existing understanding of the spirits market or high interest and passion for our products
* Structured, take pride in delivering on time and always looking for solutions
* Great communication skills, open personality, dedicated, a great teammate
* Fluent French and English is a must
* Driver’s license
