Job Description As a Share Point On-premises/M365 Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our team, responsible for developing and maintaining applications in both Share Point on-premises and the M365 platform.
Your primary focus will be on technical development, ensuring a seamless transition to the M365 Cloud and daily business operations.
Here are your essential responsibilities for this role: Development Understand, design, implement & maintain O365, Share Point on-premises and Power Platforms solutions; Create comprehensive solutions based on Share Point object model, Microsoft Power platforms components like Power App, Power Automate and Share Point; Create detailed design artifact like program specifications and test plans; Independently develop and review code to meet quality standards; Design and implement solutions aligned with business strategy, security requirements and compliance guidelines.
Migration Strategy and Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute migration strategies for transitioning from on-premises systems to M365; Specifically, manage migrations related to Share Point, file shares, One Drive and Teams; Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance during the migration process.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical assistance to end-users, addressing Share Point-related issues promptly; Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to Share Point and M365; Collaborate with colleagues to enhance system performance and user experience.
Requirements Strong knowledge of Share Point architecture, features, and functionalities; Proficient in Share Point migration tools such as Sharegate, SPMT or Metalogix etc.; Skilled in server-side languages such as C# and.
NET Framework and familiarity in client-side languages such as HTML, CSS, Java Script, Type Script, React or Angular; Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate); Certification in Microsoft 365 or Share Point is a plus.
Strong critical thinking skills to understand business pain points and propose effective solutions; Experience in financial services and / or asset management is of advantage; Excellent English oral and written communication skills; German is a plus.
